I have been at my job 6 months now and we were told we would be strictly WFH. We got an email saying we now have to come in 1x a month for “observation”. How can I professionally ask why? (Not good with corporate lingo) And how do I tell them we were told we would never be in office nor were we ever told about observation time which to me sounds like a micromanaging tactic. Don’t mean to sound whiny as 1x a month is not a lot but I was really never expecting to go in, let alone sit side by side all day to have them observe me working. Thank you in advance.
