hi. i work in a call center, i dont actually “clock in” or “clock out”… i just show up on time and leave at a set time. my scheduled time to leave is 8-4 if i am on the phone at 3:58 and the clock hits 4… i notice that it is highly discouraged for me to just hang up and leave at 4… but is it illegal? am i at risk because i didnt finish a task? its a bit weird to me.
