A few months ago I had to go on medical leave from work. I have disability so I was getting paid 75% of my salary every week while I was off. Somehow I was put back into the system only a week being gone and my job started paying me my wages while I was away from work. I didn’t think to check my account since I knew how much I should be getting in disability and I saved properly for my time off. Now that I came back to work they say I have to sign some paperwork to pay them back over 300 hours in only 5 pay periods. I never requested to go back into the system and my leave account clearly shows that I was supposed to be on disability. Is there anything I can do to not pay them back since it was not my fault??
