Now when I ask this question I don’t mean like an hourly rate per say but all thoughts are welcomed. I’m trying to figure out how to judge what someone’s work should be valued at and what a living wage truly means. If someone can live off $8 an hour but has to be frugal are they technically making a living wage? Or do they have to be living in a moderate sized house with nice cars to be considered living a decent life. For everyone that always says “well if a company paid living wage then blah blah blah” I want to know what it actually means. I need to figure out the work load to compensation balance because it just doesn’t make sense to me.
Ps I support this thread and I’m not trying to attack anyones thoughts or feelings simply wanting to learn what it truly means to make a living wage.
