I'm thinking about making some large enough amount in a semi-fast way long term to pay for housing and other cost of living items. Other people have mentioned middle man style businesses like shipping and online marketplaces for sale of items, I can see the merit sort of. But in my opinion, that seems like not my thing.
I have considered opening a restaurant specializing in nutrition and health of customers, especially a fast food venue doing this. But this also exists to a degree today in ethnic restaurants, especially vietnamese, chinese and mexican take out food places. Though sodium and fiber levels are hit and miss, cultural traditions generally have good nutrition. The older the tradition the better.
Other than that, I can't really think of anything. Apps for smartphones seem played out by this point. Lots of tech is predatory anyway, either in personal information or in exploiting adhd and other human psychology of users.
Basically, nothing honest and good with no ulterior motives makes money to live on in a relatively short period of time and sustainably.
There are certain things that have merit, like window film and tinting services to provide UV protection to the public. Things like natural wildlife restoration services, especially with native plants, is admirable but it isn't a living income from that. I guess engineers working on electric cars could be considered ethical, but Tesla is steeped in controversy and is known to have poor working conditions. Other manufacturers may be better, but engineering requires a certain level of formal schooling that I do not possess and neither do most people.
There seems to be nothing really good available for the majority.
Maybe I should try to get a loan for the restaurant?
Maybe farming is an option? But how can you simultaneously pay people well and sell at low prices? Is it all relative?
