I live in a town with one of the largest rail yards in the country surrounded by fields. Everyone I speak to about the current situation with the rail workers responds with “my family member works for the railway, we never get to see them and the company is treating them awful”. Or something to the effect in support of the workers.
Keep in mind this is a town who is proud of the history of the railroad so to see such a common dislike of the #1 employer in the area is huge and just shows how much damage control the media is running to defend these inhumane conditions.
