Now this ad doesn't say not to pay people well, but this still reeks of “send an employee to Alaska to see the aurora borealis and then you don't have to worry that they might want a pesky raise!”
This is an ad that literally tries to tell you that cash bonuses are bad. Just another attempt to prove that people don't want money. People want a guided water color kit!
Don't take my word on it, and don't ask your employees if they would rather be fairly compensated for their labor, instead look at the studies that they paid for! Those certainly aren't biased in any way at all.
The only way I would want any of these are if I was already feeling that I was being paid a fair wage at a company. If I'm not and someone tries to give me a drone as a “reward” then I would be fired that day for the things I say to my boss.
