I'm curious if this is happening to anybody else. My husband got a job at a storage facility the beginning of this year he was hired as the store manager and was told that he would just be keeping the store open and running during the day, help customers etc. That's what the job ad said as well as the hiring person.
The job has now turned into him being store manager, building manager and office manager. The things they're making him responsible for were never mentioned in the job and or interview.
Is this a common thing? Employers lieing about job details just to get people hired?
Oh and to add, my husband found out the reason why the person before him left. They cut her pay during the pandemic but never raised it again once things were back on track.
