Warehouse jobs suck a big one, there’s some smaller ok warehouses but large ones or especially freight companies suck:
- Pay sucks for the hard ass work you do worse than any other job I’ve ever worked hardest on body, I’ve done landscaping and building assistant easier than it
- It’s dangerous, almost get hit by forklifts, trucks, bang legs, head, hurt back, sore hands from wrap, dry hands from boxes, muscle strains and pains all day
- Hours always are long at weird times early am or night shift, or the worst rotating
- The people at these places god damn they boring, annoying, high end aholes
- It’s either hot af in dry foods or freezing cold in winter or inside a freezer
- It’s so repetitive and boring pick up thing put it down
- Forklifts are dangerous no matter how good you are, pulling a few tonne down from 5 pallet racks high scary af
- The office staff and managers treat you like scum but couldn’t do your job if they tried always a fat bastad or some Karen lady that no way could lift 30kg boxes off the ground especially for 12 hours
- They’re not flexible at all if you sick or late it’s always on you even for a genuine reason, even fast food ain’t that serious
- Your replaceable and they let you know alright every other type of industry I’ve worked you get warnings and more training, but not warehouses you goners sink or swim
- The time cards you can get docked if it signing in or out properly wat up with that shud be illegal
- Why they call me out for sleeping in my car at lunch time I’m tired mf
- The people are so fkn nosey trust me don’t tell anyone anything at warehouses
- They drug test you even tho you need drugs to do these jobs honestly high on crack or pot wud actually makes these jobs doable
