Wrongfully terminated, need advice

Hey guys, i was terminated back in March and have had unemployment since. Ive been needing to really crack down on searching as of late but still am not getting many responses. Should I remove the employer who terminated me from the resume? Its by far the highest pay, so I feel like this would negatively affect what I can ask for, but Im concerned about bad references.
