A little bit of background,
I work retail at a semi large cooperation, recently my bosses have been super hypercritical about making our plan (our sales goal for the day). Today one of my bosses called for a team member huddle over the intercom. While at the huddle she told us that we were well above our plan for yesterday by the tens of thousands, and the proceeded to say that we were slightly under plan for today. She followed up with and I quote “make sure you guys are getting an extra soda or snack on your breaks and lunches, and make sure you guys are pushing for customers to get more than they need so we can make our plan for today.”
I have always been anti work and anti corporation but today was a reminder of how much I am, so I figured I'd share with you all.
