I work at a popular pizza place. Tonight we had a retired boomer come work at our store because their regular store cut their hours. I asked why the hours were cut. Driver claims Gm wanted to give the hours to someone who is living pay check to paycheck not someone who has gone on three cruises this year alone.
I honestly dont even know why this driver came to work at our store. We are severally over staffed. My hours even got cut but my Gm claims its because im unhappy. No shit. Who is happy going to work to use their vehicle and their gas all while making $7.50 plus .38 a mile and relying on customers to pay the rest of a livable wage.
I am on my way out the door, dont tell me to get a better job.
