Time theft hypocrisy

I have a warehouse job and the supervisors/managers are very strict about keeping everyone busy. I’ve heard them on the radio saying things like “make sure nobody is sitting down” people have been written up for standing by the time clock 1 minute before their time to clock out, you get a write up for extending your break by just 1 minute no matter how long you’ve been with the company. One of the recent changes they made was to have a supervisor stand by the break room all day and take down everyone’s time to make sure they weren’t extending their break. This adds time to everyone’s break because they gotta wait in a line before and after in order to check in with the supervisor. Not to mention paying the supervisor to sit there all day instead of doing work that actually benefits the company.
