One of my bosses just text me asking what time I’d be able to come into work today. He says we had a conversation about me coming in to cover for a coworker yesterday. I don’t remember agreeing to cover. But now I’m having to go in. I just got back from a trip and haven’t had any time to take care of my personal life (house cleaning, laundry, grocery shopping etc..) since I was scheduled to work the day after I got back. I got back 9:30pm the previous day. Our work schedule has been all over the place with changes lately due to understaffing, school starting, and the store hours switching to a winter schedule (it’s a gelato shop). All of these changes are leaving me and my coworkers confused and it’s hard to keep track of the ever changing schedule.
Idk what I’m looking for by posting this. I’m just very upset and my partner is tired of me complaining about it. So thank for being my listening ear Reddit.
