I worked for a independent mom and pops pressure washing company for a little over a year. Got tired of the management and way I was being treated. When I was hired they told me if I quit and didn’t give them a 2 weeks notice they won’t give me my last paycheck. I guess at the time I just figured they said that to scare me but I just brushed it off. Well i finally had enough to where I didn’t give a fuck about the 2 weeks notice and just quit. And now they are holding my check from me. Is this legal? If not who should I contact considering this is a small independent company with no HR or anyone like that I could call? Thanks
