So i just landed an awesome job.
It’s been a long 6 years at my current company, lots of stress, little sleep, and not enough pay. I just got a verbal offer from this new company and waiting for them to send me the formal offer letter. They already told me the pay.
It’s a very popular corporate company and they said they are processing my formal offer letter. This should be finalized by the end of this week!
The HR person was super nice and suggested that I pass the background check before I put in my 2 weeks.
I am dying to put in my 2 weeks. Is there any reason that I should not tell my company once i sign the offer letter? Should i wait until after I pass the background check? I know for a fact I will pass my background check lol.
