Using a throwaway because I guess I'm paranoid…
I work in an office that is severely understaffed, in the last few months two people have left, one of which being the marketing manager who's a quite important member of our team, and our boss is just simply not thinking of hiring a replacement and wants all of us to take on the extra load.
Somehow we're all managing, but I had to take 2 days off due to a chest infection and I feel so horribly guilty over it because I know whenever I take time off, it's screwing over others in my team, not by a large amount (my job is mostly social media management/marketing) but still will affect my coworkers. I hate that I feel so guilty over this when any worker should be able to take time off due to illness, especially considering the state of the world nowadays….
Anyway, just wanted to vent a bit…
