How to handle being skimped on paycheck twice?

Okay so I work as a delivery driver with my personal vehicle since April of this year and last month we had a technical issue where work hours were not logged correctly for many of us. For some they said they missed out on maybe a few hours worth of work. I had 34 hours missing from my check. Eventually it got remedied a few weeks later but I was still very concerned. I know in speaking with my boss that it will be handled and I will be compensated but seeing this issue twice in under 2 months makes me feel extremely uneasy. I don't know how I should approach the situation. Should I quit? Just continue working and wait to be paid again and hope the issue doesn't happen a third time? Or maybe choose not to work until the issue is remedied and/or there's a guarantee that it won't happen again.

Feel free to ask for any additional info. Thanks!
