Scared of losing job due to personal matters outside of work

Guys, i’m up late staring at my ceiling wondering what i’ll do if I lose my job. Unfortunately I work for a small business where both of the owners are in the shop daily and are very involved in their business. I’m a wonderful employee and have shown numerous times how impressive my aptitude for learning is as well as my ability to apply it and come up with amazing design ideas and actually craft them out. I’ve worked over 100 OT hours since starting last May and am frequently asked for by customers. This year, life has been giving me a rough go and I fell a litte behind at work, although my attendance has been near perfect.
I also stopped being as social and fun at work as my life outside of work has took on new responsibilities and has demanded a lot of my attention. My bosses are always talking about us being a family and always trying to do stuff with us employees outside of work however when I have not attended in the past, i’ve been called out by them to my face calling me a bad team player and going as far as micro nitpicking the smallest of issues i’ve faced at work and telling me its a direct result of the choices i’m making outside of work (i.e. my relationship becoming more serious, my grandfather who raised me becoming terminally ill, and my roommate/coworker stirring drama up with my girlfriend).
I calmly explained that my life outside of work simply is not their business and that my work ethic and performance while at work has still remained constant and strong and that they need to separate personal opinions about my outside life from the value i bring to them as an employee. They apologized and we’ve moved on. Despite this though, we’re nearing the end of our production log and i’m scared that with work slowing down, they’ll look to offload me and make up a reason to fire me such as sighting attendance (i just called out yesterday for being sick with a nasty sinus infection) or neglecting a project that needed to be done.
I can’t afford to lose my job, I have multiple loans i’m paying, rent, cell phone, my car and its insurance. I’m terrified of losing my job due to personal matters outside of work that have no effect on my work. Unsure of what to do other than apply for jobs right now in the event i’m let go. This sucks…I loved this job so much.
