My manager told me to come into work early on a day off during an active shooter threat

This happened about 4 months ago in May. I got the day off to go to my nieces graduation but got a text from my manager telling me to come in 2 hours, not asking if I could. I thought this was wierd seeing as the same manager gave me the days off. He didn't give me any information as to why he would need me to come in or what the situation was at work. I told him I had the days off and the plans I already made couldn't be canceled or rescheduled. When I came back the next day my coworkers tell there was an active shooter threat and every department except mine was escorted out and allowed to go home with full day pay.
