I worked labor day and checked my hours and was just wondering where this 4 extra hours appeared from so I asked my boss. He explained that instead of my hourly rate going up per hour for the day I get paid my regular rate with just 4 hours added on for the day. Ive never heard of this before it just seems odd. Is this a thing?
