So I work at a dog boarding kennel and I tried to take 3 days off (Thursday Friday and Saturday) on Columbus day and they told me that I can't take that time off because it's a holiday and there is no one else to work. And now I have to come in extra early and stay late because someone called out sick which sucks because she does this often and usually it is just an excuse to get out of work. I'm so frustrated and disappointed. I really wanted to see my dad that I haven't seen in almost 3 years. Sigh.
