Anyone else walk out of a job?

I was working for a major bank for 4 months and ended up being paired with a racist, misogynistic boss who would blurt expletives from his office. He would call women within the firm as well as outside the firm btches and cnts. I heard him telling one of his buddies on the phone that he felt bad for some young lady who was marrying a “black guy.” I got up and walked out lol. Why should I have to sit there and listen to this garbage coming out of this 67 year old white man's mouth. (I'm white too, by the way.) I also got paid pretty well. He was abusive towards us all. I should not have to feel DREAD waking up in the morning and driving to work, wondering how mad he would get that given day. He would yell, slam his door, punch his desk etc…

The stress and anxiety was MURDERING my personal life.

I filed a complaint with management prior to leaving. They claimed they would do something about it but all they did was give him a “talk” lol

I ended up moving all my assets from that firm to another one. The manager saw this and called me immediately asking what I was up to. I told her im moving my account over to a better firm. She was upset. I have every right to do so If I no longer plan on being there.
I mentioned my boss again and she dismissed it saying, he was “probably just angry” or “having a bad day.”
I'm like……..really? That's an excuse? So if I'm having a bad day, I can say the 'n' word?
I'm proud to say I am leaving and will be spreading the word about these horrible people.

I already feel a huge weight off my back and have gotten 3 offers from better firms. No one should have to feel like their soul is being sucked out of them, afraid of going to work.I don't care how much they are getting paid.
