the title sounds condescending but i really don’t understand, for starters, everyone says minimum wage isn’t enough to live alone and have all this spare money to support your activities in the free time but i don’t think that is the point. for the most part minimum wage jobs are ones where they require no real skill or hard work. if you want a good paying job you are gonna have to work for it which is fair. i am only 19 and i’ve moved out 2 years ago and have never made less than 25 an hour in my life because i work hard. it is not hard to get out of poverty if you try hard.
