Hi everyone… so, today, literally out of nowhere, I was fired. Never given any warning. Been given “great jobs” throughout the last few months on the work I’ve done. Have met all deadlines. I wasn’t going above and beyond… but I was only getting paid $13.00 and I have a bachelors degree and graduated summa cum laude. It’s a remote position – no more than 20 hours a week. I met with the CEO and I could tell straight away I didn’t particularly like her. However, I was nice and respectful and did what she asked. The last few weeks I have been trying to get in contact with her and no luck. Couldn’t get in contact with my other supervisor. Then get a passive aggressive email about work and life separation and how I need to wait 24 for a response. I was asking what my next assignment was. And was never given anything to do. I’m not sure how I am feeling because I didn’t particularly enjoy the company, but also don’t know why I was fired. I probably won’t either. There were a few red flags (ie them saying they’ve gone through multiple people in my position) and the reviews of the CEO weren’t great. Not sure what to do… but it’s just my story
