GF works at front desk of spa. My gfs boss tells them to “find time” to take a break, but there are no staff to cover her, she is often the only one working the front desk. Is this allowed? There is rarely a good time for time her to break, lunch or otherwise, for her whole 10-7 shift. This is in CA. I’m telling her to try and document but I’m not sure if any rules are broken, or how she would even document this. She is also not allowed to eat her desk.
Edit: she only gets half an hour break too.
