How much longer are U.S. citizens going to just sit around complaining on social media about our circumstances and not take considerable action on corrupt corporations and the growing wealth inequality in our country?
THE TIME IS NOW
We are mindlessly suffering day after day without reaching for the fruit of a better tomorrow. We are doing a disservice to our progeny by not fighting for their future as the people of Ukraine and Iran are selflessly doing.
At this point, we are no better than the people of Russia just standing around and excepting their fate of becoming dead men walking. We are over here joking about their weakness and ineptitude like it could never happen to us with how much the media has polarized us into fear and submission.
I don't care where you are on in the political spectrum. We need to all come together and fight for our rights, freedom, and quality of life like Ukraine did in Maidan. As much as I love my country and people, right now all I see is cowardice, selfishness, and inaction. How selfish is it to remain neutral for the sake of money? Imagine living the rest of your life under this boot without experiencing the beauty of togetherness like we witnessed with Maidan.
It is a world effort to fight for peace. Yes, fighting for these things is f***ing scary…but the alternative is future generations facing the consequences and looking back asking:
“Why didn't our ancestors fight for us?”
“Why didn't they fight for the greater good?”
“How did they let this happen?”
“How could they be so weak?”
In my opinion, our country's morale is just as shit as Russia's and greatly pales in comparison to Ukraine.
If the American people don't start acting soon then I see no hope in our future and we deserve all of the shame and humiliation that comes with it.
Please…let's come together and fight for our planet, peace, and humanity….
