Currently I work as a “dishwasher” at a busy restaurant in a busy college town. If I start at 8 AM, I'm lucky to get to start dish until 2, Because I'm constantly getting told to do everything else in the restaurant. There are not enough hours in my shift if I continuously work without a break to complete all the stuff they need me to do, and God forbid we go over what we're scheduled because labor is tight.
Near the end of my shift I still hadn't gotten any dish done today, because I was being told to do multiple other things by my GM. Like 10 minutes before I left, She pulled me aside, comma and started chastising me chastising me for not getting any of the dish done. I looked at her, I told her there is no possible way possible way to get everything that she wanted me to get done today done, unless I had 8 arms, Or had multiple clones of myself. The only thing she could respond with one “Too bad those aren't possibilities…” Like the only solution solution is completely fictional because she won't hire any one else To complete the 4 people's worth of work she has me do.
