I saw a real doozy on Craigslist today

job title: Assistant If ALL of these phrases describe you: * People pleaser * Quick to learn * No excuses * You love working and don’t yearn to clock out at 5pm (for the right position) * You don't need hand holding and can handle anything thrown at you. job title: Assistant

If ALL of these phrases describe you:
* People pleaser
* Quick to learn
* No excuses
* You love working and don’t yearn to clock out at 5pm (for the right position)
* You don't need hand holding and can handle anything thrown at you. (even if you weren’t given the right pieces to begin with).

Then I’m looking for you and here’s my promise to you: You’ll love your job (I’ll make sure of it). Because I’ll want to keep you around forever and make sure you’re happy.

Please don’t apply unless you fit this bill. Fancy resumes or fast talkers won't get far here. You'll be expected to PROVE your track record and SHOW me you are who I’m looking for before I'll hire you.

Tasks You’ll Be Performing

I’m looking for someone I can hand a wide variety of tasks off to and know that they will be done. Examples of common tasks would be:

  • Scheduling clients
  • Hiring and managing our team of handyman and inspectors
  • Running errands (post office, food shopping, etc.)
  • Coordinating our deals from start to close
  • Making travel arrangements
  • Marketing (text, RVM and email blasts)
  • Internet research of all kinds
  • Researching, evaluating and managing vendors
  • Research and recommend new software and efficiency tools
  • Handle prospect or customer inquiries via phone, email, our online support ticketing system and our “live chat” feature on our sites
  • Pre-qualifying customers and prospects
  • Vendor management (research vendors, manage relationships, etc.)
  • Online ordering
  • Maintain my calendar
  • Booking travel
  • Property research
  • and more.

REQUIREMENTS:
* Absolutely 100% fluent in U.S. English – both written and oral (some phone work involved)
* Excellent organization skills (detailed oriented)
* Able to create systems and processes for outsourcing
* Ability to follow instructions clearly
* Ability to set and meet deadlines
* Integrity and honesty
* Efficiency
* Intuitive
* Empathetic
* Decision-maker
* Be proficient in typing (45WPM+)

So – here's how you land this easy, chill gig…

Respond via email with (and only with) the following:

  1. When you reply, use the phrase “I can follow instructions” in your response.

  2. Tell me EXACTLY WHY you’re the best person for this job. I usually get 50-100 applications for every job post so “I am available” will get deleted. Don't waste your time. And DON’T send me your resume AT ALL. Also, please DON’T send me a generic cover letter in response to this either. Tailoring your response to this specific job posting will increase the chances of me considering you for this position dramatically.

  3. Tell me PRECISELY what date you can start (today is Saturday, September 3rd) and how many hours PER WEEK you can work.

compensation: $15/hour CASH
