Final day on the schedule, 15 minutes to clock in, not in uniform, I'm chilling talking to my coworkers as it's my last day.I go into the bathroom to get changed for work and get a text from someone (the owner) whom I've never talked to, ever, til this moment:
Get off your phone and get to work.
After my shift I still don't know how to feel about it. Is that even legal? To tell an off the clock employee to get to work? I mean, they went so far as to dig for my numbers and text me, but not so far as to see that I wasn't clocked in?
They also harped on my direct manager to yell at me for being out of uniform. (off the clock)
Do I have anything I can do about this?
edit: he's watching me from states away over the camera's, like, all shift, waiting for me to do something wrong
