I have seen the phrase “being written up in many posts (in this subreddit and in others) but I don’t understand what it means. I have worked in India and Sweden and neither country has this concept. I am not aware of any other country that has this also, except US (and maybe Canada, I am not really sure). Does your salary get deducted when you get written up?
