So this one has my blood boiling!
I’m minding my own business, getting my groceries when I overhear a supervisor trying to convince a young store worker to do more shifts.
The thing is, this is a big chain supermarket in the uk and they just didn’t want to put the effort into training someone else on a particular department.
The girl was standing her ground, refusing to take more shifts, as she was in the last year of school and had her a levels to prepare for. The (male) supervisor kept at her for a good 15 minutes (I kept circling round in case she needed backup). He clearly didn’t care that the biggest exams of her life are this year and she needs to prioritise her education. He just wanted those shifts filled.
SO HIRE MORE STAFF! Or ask literally any other colleague.
Seriously I feel like making a complaint to the store about how he was treating her.
