I work 40 hours a week helping children with autism. It’s grueling. It’s rewarding. It involves a lot of poop. It’s f*cking hard and I just want to help these kids become independent. After two weeks (one paycheck) of full time work I pay $322 in taxes and $125 in health insurance. That leaves me with $1,000 even. It’s not awful, I’m thankful. but insurance per kiddo pays the company roughly $14,000 per two weeks. (HOURLY fee for service is ~$200). (I get paid $20 an hour). ($100 per hour for psychologist who tells me what to do, $20 per hour for me to do everything, ~$75/100 per hour goes to company)
(Luckily not mine) but most companies only start this business because it’s an absolute honey pot. Literally choosing autistic kids as their commodity.

Makes me sick to think of Jeff Bozo, Elon Musk, Warren Buffet etc etc etc who not only don’t care but they actively make peoples’ lives worse, while not paying their fair damn share!!!!!! And the chums like us doing our best pay nearly $700 a MONTH in taxes. UGH!!!!!!!!
