They expected something we have never supported. “This contradicts the impression they had from the sales pitch.” Well then someone gave them the wrong impression. “This really impacts our relationship with the client.” It impacts your commission. “Are you taking responsibility for this?” No. You lied. I got put on a special project. It appears to be that the only thing special about it is that I get screamed at instead of the sales team who fucked up before I was even hired. I went above and beyond for this client (who doesn't even pay for my specialized service and team). Took a full week. Tested hours of workarounds with engineers (who they also don't pay for). I know it's insurmountably hard to upload one file a week, but I know you're capable of great things if you set your mind to it!

I ended that call early because the client was pointing at their webcam and hitting their desk. I just went silent.

I got a 9 paragraph diatribe from the rep. Deleted slack off of my phone immediately after. Got an email asking if I got the slack. Deleted email off of my phone immediately after. If this mf calls me, I'm going to block his number and report to HR.

Mind you, this man is subordinate to me.

I'm so done. I'm so done. I'm so done. I'm never doing this again. You guys were right about exceeding expectations. I wasn't even hired to do this bullshit.

My manager better fix this. I know if I fix it, I'm on the mf bread line.
