for context: my business is an online business (I'll be as blunt about this as possible for confidentiality). but we can do our work completely fine at home.
during the pandemic, 2020-2021-ish, we were made to WFH and profits and productivity skyrocketed. We performed better than ever with no turnovers and no complaints.
Start of 2022, we were told to come back to the office, cause we have the worst fucking managers in the world who LIVE to micromanage and nothing else.
Since then, we've had many leave due to no flexibility, better benefits elsewhere, better management, etc.
…but they fail to see the silver lining in all of this and the company is suffering because of this. I can see many more leaving very soon and if it wasn't for my fucking XM4 headphones, I'd prob wanna punch a few holes in the wall here cause all these neighbors do is YAP FOR 5 HOURS
