As you probably know, a devastating hurricane hit Florida really bad this week. On Monday night, we received an email from HR saying that the offices will be closed through Thursday because of said hurricane and that we will receive pay for the days we had to miss.
Fast forward to today and we come in the office with an email saying they’re not paying for the time we had to miss and we have to use our PTO. I work at a very large and very RICH law firm. I am beyond pissed. How can they say that and then take it back!?
