I was in the restroom today at a local Rural King today and a young man walked in. I did the obligatory cough to let him know someone was in there. He started talking to himself in the mirror, and it became apparent that he was an employee there. He said he was so over this job and that he can’t wait to quit. Then he said that he could finish his shift and gave himself a pep talk while he washed his face. To him I say: Do it. For whatever reason this job is stressing you out, the job is not worth it. They can’t afford to pay you for your time stressing over their work. I hope you find something better soon my friend. If you happen to see this (I know how unlikely it is) come down to the car wash down the road and I will gladly hire you until you find your place.
