My School had a become a Teacher Program

Back in HS a few years ago they had this new learn to be a Teacher elective and it was beyond brutal. I chose it because I hated theater class badly ( a poor decision on my part) . In the beginning you knew it was going to be a screwed up class, there was only 10 students including me in the whole class the entire year. The teacher did her best trying to persuade us to be a teacher (talking about you could teach pre school and get the summer off, plus nonsense about the learning stages for a 10 YO below kid) yet avoided talking about salary the entire school year not once did she mention it and even when I asked she tried to end the conversation fast. You'd be lucky to get 30k in my state for 2-4 years of college Nevertheless the whole school year…

You'd be lucky to get 30k in my state for 2-4 years of college Nevertheless the whole school year was filler, most of the time we watched random videos about how people learn (visual learner vs auditory) and plot twist I did not get persuaded to become a teacher. Funny enough the teachers at my school that year decided to attend a strike since they kept talking about it in whispers. (Maybe that's why some teachers that I experienced were beyond cruel).

Unless you want to be some university professor or principal (they ironically make the most salary in a common school), there's no point in being a teacher let alone a school district teacher that has to pay for supplies while some City worker with no college experience has a livable wage (IE Trash collector).
