My assistant manager (lets call her A), is pretty widely disliked by everyone in the kitchen. She got in an argument with my coworker (B), and suspended him. B called corporate, to file a complaint about A, and did it through his girlfriend's phone. The complaint was supposed to be anonymous either way. She supposedly “saw that his girlfriend called and complained” (he, a very obvious male, was the one on the phone), and fired him. Said he made the store look bad.
Now this isn't completely my business, but A is one of the most disrespectful and unprofessional managers I have ever met. Cant put in orders correctly, cant lift the 50 lbs required to work there in the first place, and most importantly has no idea how to run a kitchen without starting an argument with employees. Hell, the only reason i've kept peace with her is my dead silence at work, I would say something but I cannot risk losing my job in the slightest.
How can I report her without getting fucked over like B did? Is it even legal what she did to him?
