How much of a raise should I ask for?

Background Currently working in a Project Manager role in Australia. It's a niche industry and not construction/IT where the big $$ are. Background

Currently working in a Project Manager role in Australia. It's a niche industry and not construction/IT where the big $$ are.

Currently on $85,000 + super which I thought was a bit low considering I was promoted from a Project Coordinator role while on $80,000 but I was happy with the title(looks good on CV) and an extra few grand is better than nothing.

Caught word that because my workload has slightly dropped in the last month or so that my new boss is going to try and palm off some other projects on me that aren't within my job description. My capacity would be fine now but I know when my work ramps up soon I will be doing well over my contracted hours most days if I take on the new work.

Don't mind being given more work but a) how should I put it that I'm happy to do it but only for more $$ and b) how much should I reasonably ask for knowing that there would likely be some negotiating back and fourth? Taking into account inflation and cost of living increase

Thanks
