My (state) employer is doing a pressure campaign against us to do roles that they won't hire for. I work for an at will state. We now have to do 15 people's work with only 10 left. ( Five quit.) We are expected to “rotate” the responsibility between us. It's for a different position we weren't hired for. No extra money has been offered and these expectations are a big stress including travel and basically being on sudden call at any time the skeleton crew left is unable to do the work. Everyone relies on their job and can't renegotiate a dramatic change to thier job description under the threat of sudden termination.
