After working long shifts I have come to a startling conclusion.

After 8hrs people become unproductive and generally fuck up everything they touch. I advise employers to stop the barbaric practice of 8+ hr shifts in physical or monotonous jobs. Anyone who wants to continue longer shifts needs to ask these questions. 1) Are constant fuck ups worth the shift extension? 2) is higher staff absenteeism worth it in order to run longer shifts? 3) Is higher staff injury worth it in order to run longer shifts? All in all longer shifts are not worth the supposed benefit they seemly have. I did a long shift today. I fucked up two pieces of equipment. I do not find this an acceptable cost in order to run a longer shift pattern
