I'm a home health aide and many of my clients don't want us there. They actively reject most help from us. They sit us in a back bedroom and ignore us. Or just tell us they don't want us there and avoid us.
I know this is antiwork but I like my job. I like helping. I hate working but this job is at least tolerable. What bothers me is that as a caregiver it drives me crazy that these rich people hire us and then don't have us do anything. It sounds like heaven but it gets really lonely and depressing to be hired for a job and to just sit in a bedroom alone all day.
