I work and do things, these things often require calling into a clients call center to confirm settings and such. They are US based but are making their Immigrant employees not use their actual names and instead use things like: Red, Book, Golf, Love, Nice, Bird. This is unacceptable, employees with 'American' names use their name. I understand that coms are sometimes shoddy, but at least let them pick their own nickname based on their actual name, or Initials (That's what my company does) if your that concerned about not being able to convey who talked to who.
It just rubs me the wrong way that a company is stripping people of their fundamental identifier. You got a 18 character name that is unpronounceable to a dunce like me? Sierra Papa Echo Lima Lima that shit out for me, its YOUR name I got time and respect for you.
