I’ve applied to about 15 different places over the course of a month or so and literally only one place has gotten back to me about an interview. I went to that interview, and they said that they would get back to me the day after the interview about if I got the job or not. A week later, I haven’t heard a whisper from them. It’s not like I’m applying to places where you have to be especially qualified, either. I’m 18 on a gap year, and I’m literally just trying to find a job as a waiter. It’s honestly fucking insane that people can say that “nobody wants to work anymore” when people that do actually want to work get ghosted by entry-level positions. I didn’t want to go back to fast food, but at this point it seems like the only option to be able to have somewhere actually get back to me.
