It's so demoralizing to apply to jobs you have years of related experience for and you get a rejection email with nothing noted.
Did I ask for too much money? Is it because my legal address is far (I plan on moving in with my partner once I get the job). Did they just find perfect candidates already? Because I put a preferred name in?
The best rejection letter I got was to a job I applied to with no experence because I figured if by some chance I got it it'd be a nice skill to learn (welding). They sent me a physical letter on nice paper and said they got someone with experience but thank you for applying.
But most are just an automated email or nothing at all.
