Laws against working off the clock

I think this happens often at my place of employment… i just had a manager who was working at completing their tasks before heading out. They clocked out and had been working for another hour, telling me that the GM approved this. We are also scheduled without the required minimum of 10 hours between shifts and then need special authorization to clock in when it hasnt been enough time between shifts. This even happens to underage staff Im in ohio and im going to look into the labor laws but i guess in just looking for any tips or links to information as idk where to begin possibly getting reports into DOL Thanks ya’ll!
