One of the kindest, smartest women I have met in the workplace didn’t excel as much as she could have. She didn’t move forward with her career. That’s because I think she was very concerned for others. I guess she wasn’t able to find a position that worked out well for her. That makes me sad, since she was so introspective and thoughtful.
