I've seen a lot of posts and comments on here that tell users not to sign anything in the event they are let go, because this can potentially harm their chances of getting unemployment.
I'm kinda confused about this unspoken rule, how do i make sure not to accidentally sign something that will take away my chance at this? Is there a fine print to look out for? Does this only apply to certain states? I tried googling this and i didn't get any relevant results.
