After no pay rises in the past three years whilst the company I work for bulks up their bank account (yes, I have access to it) I had started pressing about a pay rise since before Christmas. Everytime I mentioned it my boss (the owner of the company) he would tell me that he's thinking about it yet nothing ever happens. Well this morning something just snapped within me and all of a sudden I needed a wheelbarrow to carry around my balls as I walked straight into his office and called him out for the fact that I'm falling into financial poverty working for him. I never flinched as he tried to justify what he thought I was worth, just instead starring at him with a blank poker face until he relented and asked me what I wanted. Even though he gave it begrudgingly, I got it. Without this sub I would probably just have accepted the bare minimum and still be pissed about it but because of this sub I was focused and prepared. Thank you again and I hope you all get paid what you deserve.
(Before anyone asks, because of my location and personal commitments it's very hard for me to find alternative employment in my area which would financially benefit me. Trust me, I've tried.)
